            The State Government has decided that with effect from 9th May, 1980, the name of the Administrative District of Simanggang has been changed to Sri Aman". Therefore, with effect from that day the District shall be called, known and described as "Sri Aman" for all occasions.

2.         An amendment under paragraph (f) of sub-section (i) of Section 3 of the Administrative Areas Ordinance has been made to this effect.
